Special Grants
In 2006 the MFFC Board decided to differentiate funds in the Conservation Budget. The two categories established were Conservation and Special Grants.
Conservation Grants generally deal with conservation efforts. These tasks in the past have included stream and shore restorations, environmental efforts toward controlling pollution runoff, financial support for legal efforts in the area of conservation, and mentoring programs for children in the area of conservation to name a few.
Special Grants support people and/or groups that need financial assistance for events, retreats, or educational activities. These activities should reflect an interest in fly fishing, conservation, and/or education.
