Plan to spend a day with members of the Michigan Fly Fishing School learning the basic application of Fly Fishing Mythologies:
- Equipment ideologies for successful day on the water. Learn about - rods, fly lines, leaders, waders, wading boots, vest & miscellaneous necessities.
- Knots for fly presentation: fly line, leader, tippet & fly connection.
- Understanding Michigan's (Bug) Hatches.
- Fly Tying Basics
- Casting for Beginner-Tree avoidance etiquette
All equipment for fly tying and casting is provided…catered lunch included…just bring yourself, friends, relatives, under 18 must be accompanied adult.
School to be held June 6, 2009 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at
Multi-Lakes Conservation Association located at 3860 Newton Rd, Commerce, MI.
